Surface Preparation and Application
For best results, surfaces should be clean, dry and free from oil, grease and contaminants. Henkel recommends an appropriate LOCTITE cleaner for degreasing and cleaning the surfaces before bonding. For difficult-to-bond plastics, LOCTITE SF 770 primer may be used to improve adhesion. If faster curing is required, compatible LOCTITE activators such as SF 7452 or SF 7455 can be used according to the applicable technical data sheet.
Apply a small amount of adhesive to one bonding surface, assemble the components immediately and maintain appropriate contact pressure until the adhesive fixtures.
